An Education

Ah, to live in An Education. Everything about the Carey Mulligan film is rather sumptuous and envy-inducing, from the outfits to the beautiful cinematography. Of course, the set design is no exception. I particularly love the 1960s kitchen in Jenny’s parents’ house:

However, the apartment in this film which I envied most was that of Jenny’s teacher, Miss Stubbs (played by Olivia Williams). This is pretty much what I dreamed of when I first moved to London…

And finally, I couldn’t resist including this shot of ’60s’ South Kensington - simply perfect.
